Target Audience
This workshop is for Master s and Doctoral students who are writing up their research findings or developing a proposal for a thesis or dissertation.

Description of Workshop
The workshop aims to help students in two related areas: (1) the process of identifying a research topic and writing a proposal, and (2) Writing scholarly research articles from the beginning to publication. The workshop will cover the dos and don ts of the process and will provide guidelines to help students to excel in their studies.
The key aspects covered are:
- How to identify the research area.
- How to conduct an effective literature review.
- How to write a research proposal.
- How to write an article for a scientific journal.
- How to get an article published in an international peer-reviewed journal.
Resources
Bring your laptop. Ensure it is fully charged as the room may not have sufficient power sockets.
