Target Audience
This workshop is for graduate students (Masters/Doctorate) and research assistants. Undergraduate students involved with any research project, such as SURE projects, or those who are interested in the research process are encouraged to attend. It is open to anyone interested in developing research skills and/or conducting scholarly research.

Workshop Description
Strengthening your Research Skills
- How to do literature review and implement research methods
- How to come up with a research idea and develop a good research proposal
- Training on how to deliver good quality of research
Resources
Bring your own laptop and ensure it is fully charged, as the room may not have convenient power sockets. Additionally, please be prepared with a research idea of your own for discussion purposes. Masters and doctoral students are strongly encouraged to have an outline (one page only) of their research proposal – please try your best to prepare this even if you have not started with it as yet. Do have your note-book and pen/pencil ready for short writing sessions. The session will be interactive; active participation is strongly encouraged.
