- Seminar on the Law and Practice of the International Criminal Court: Achievements, Challenges,
and Prospects
The College of Law in close collaboration with the Coalition for the International Criminal Court,
organized a one-day seminar on ‘The Law and Practice of the International Criminal Court: Achievements,
Challenges, and Prospects’. The seminar marked the 10th Anniversary of the International Criminal
Court. The event was led by prominent experts from the European Union and the United States of
America in addition to Arab experts.
- The 21st International Annual Conference on Energy between Law & Economics
The conference focused on the legal and economic aspects that govern energy, alternative sources, and
environmental protection.
- 11th Forum for Mathematicians
The Mathematical Sciences Department held the 11th Forum for Mathematicians in the UAE which
included a series of conferences that aimed to introduce the latest modern theories and applications of
mathematics in different aspects of life; gathering the elite of distinctive mathematicians to exchange
ideas concerned with the developments in the field; highlighting the importance of mathematics and its
role in serving other sciences such as medicine, health and financial sciences; and to form collaborations
with other local and the international universities. The conference was attended by over 130 scientists
and researchers inMath from Canada, Germany, France, USA as well as faculty members and researchers
from universities in UAE and the region.
