- Folklore Day
As part of UAEU’s commitment to conserve and sustain UAE values, traditions and heritage, the
Department of Sociology organized a Folklore Day and presented various traditional activities in addition
to Emirati heritage shows, old handicrafts, traditional food as well as hunting tools, falcon shows and
photography. During the celebration, the Military Music Band also performed the national anthem
along with many traditional songs. The event was attended by members of the community and schools.
