- Sustainable City Exhibition
Organized by the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, the Exhibition included 30 research
projects from graduate students in the Geography Department which raised a variety of issues related
to the planning of green and sustainable cities, sharing many new ideas. The exhibition also included
posters concerned with sustainable green environment applications and cities planning and involved
the participation of government authorities from public and private sectors in the UAE.
- Arab Latin American Academic Symposium
Organized jointly by the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) and FUNGLODE, the 4th Arab-Latin
American Forum brought together prominent national and international figures, and sector and region
specific experts from Latin America and the Arab world to develop a strategic vision for an enhanced
partnership on issues of mutual concerns to both regions.
