UAEU Student Affairs and Enrollment Section Receives a Delegation from the University of Buraimi

The United Arab Emirates University (UAEU), Student Affairs and Enrollment Section, received a delegation from the University of Buraimi, Oman, on Tuesday, February 10th, in the crescent building on the main Al Ain campus. The Omani delegation were interested in finding out about the experiences of their UAEU peers in terms of student affairs and enrollment issues.
The Omani delegation was first received by Mrs. Khadija Al Naqbi, Head of the Student Affairs Deanship at UAEU. She described, in detail, the mission statement and duties of her deanship and the services provided to the students. She explained the duties of the three main departments, which are the Residence Department, the Student Activities Department and the Student Services Department all of which work to provide a conducive university environment for the students.
Mrs. Al Naqbi also explained that the Student Affairs Deanship at UAEU provides the administrative services necessary to ensure quality, efficiency and transparency. It works hard to ensure that these tasks are carried out according to international standards. They seek to provide an environment that helps students to be creative and innovative.
Dr. Ali Al Ghaferi, the head of the delegation and Director of the Academic Counseling Center at the University of Buraimi, thanked UAEU and stressed the advantages of learning from UAEU’s experiences in the field of student service and counseling. UAEU has a good reputation and lots of experience in this area. He added that he was looking forward to further cooperation and coordination between the two universities.
