The innovation team from the Securities and Commodities Authority visits the United Arab Emirates University

 

 

The innovation team from the Securities and Commodities Authority recently visited the United Arab Emirates University to exchange experiences and contribute to innovation in scientific research as part of their support for national economic growth. This also strengthens the university’s role in transferring knowledge and skills to the community.

Dr. Ghaleb Al Hadrami, Deputy Vice Chancellor for Research and Graduate Studies, received Mr. Saif Al Tunaiji, the manager of Issuance and Disclosure Department at the Securities and Commodities Authority. This was in the Crescent Building at UAEU in Al Ain. He welcomed the team and talked about the role of the national university in providing opportunities for students to participate in university projects to support innovation and economic development.

Mr. Al Tunaiji conveyed his appreciation of the cooperation between the university and the authority as part of its effort to improve financial services and markets in the UAE in order to benefit the national economy.

The innovation team of the Securities and Commodities Authority also visited the robotics laboratory in the Information Technology Building to gain first-hand experience of UAEU’s establishment of an innovation laboratory.
