The United Arab Emirates University organizes a “Together we plan for happiness” lecture

The Media and Communications Department at the United Arab Emirates University, organized an awareness lecture entitled "Together we plan for happiness", on Wednesday, October 28^th, 2015, in the theater of the College of Information Technology on campus. It was held in conjunction with the Family Development Foundation, as part of the university’s role in educating young women by informing and preparing them for marital and family life.

The lecturer, Anoud Mohammed Al Buti, a certified trainer in human development from Kuwait, gave advice and guidance. She introduced the students to Sharia, psychological health and the social objectives of marriage. She stressed that “the first step to a successful marriage is to know your partner, and realize that differences are not a problem, rather, they are motivation for greater integration. Do not attempt to change your partner but cooperate to make your marriage a success.”

The lecture targeted female university students and was well attended as the students were interested in finding out the keys to a successful marriage. At the end of the lecture, the Media and Communications Department honored the lecturer for her efforts to educate the young and for providing counseling. The Family Development Foundation praised UAEU for organizing the lecture.
