The United Arab Emirates University signs an MOU with SAP

The Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning at the United Arab Emirates University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the SAP Training and Development Institute on Thursday, October 29^th, 2015. Professor Mohamed Al Baili, Deputy Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, was present in the Crescent Building on the Maqam campus.

According to the MOU SAP will collaborate with the university to establish a ‘Dual Study Program’ to provide university students with the opportunity to gain knowledge and acquire both theoretical and practical experience with SAP technology in order to prepare for their future careers. SAP will train a number of faculty to become certified trainers through their ‘Train the Trainer’ program, so that they can then train students and prepare them for working life in state institutions that use SAP technology.

The ‘Dual Study Program’ will enable students to combine theoretical studies with the opportunity to obtain a SAP certificate. This joint approach means that students will graduate as consultants with SAP and gain practical experience of training in the SAP system.
