The College of Science of the United Arab Emirates University launched an online registration and student counseling management system on Sunday, April 24^th, 2016.  In attendance was Dr. Ahmed Murad, Acting Dean of the College of Science, the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, various heads of academic departments, students, and academic counseling staff.

Dr. Ahmed Murad said: "This new electronic system is designed to organize the registration process, facilitate the registration procedures for students, save their time, and help them overcome the problems they often face during the registration and academic counseling period, such as overbooked classes."  The system will serve the students efficiently, which would contribute to saving time for them and the staff, and help in maintaining their privacy. He further explained that launching this system has achieved part of the College’s strategic plan initiatives for this year, including the development of counseling units.

This initiative comes in line with the University’s vision, which aims to ensure the quality of higher education by offering the necessary programs for the qualification and localization of the UAE labor market in the future fields and the achievement of academic excellence according to the academic and institutional accreditation standards.
