The College of Business and Economics at UAEU holds the 1st induction meeting for students enrolled in the Master’s in Professional Accounting

The College of Business and Economics, in cooperation with the Enrollment Deanship, at the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU), organized the first induction meeting for students enrolled in the Master's of Professional Accountancy (accredited by AACSB) on Wednesday, August 17th, 2016, at the programs headquarters on Reem Island in Abu Dhabi. Dr. Fernando Zanella, Assistant Dean for Research and Graduate Studies, Professor Habib Mahama, program supervisor, administrators and students were all present.
Dr. Zanella stressed the university’s vision of leadership and excellence in graduate programs in order for graduates to succeed in business, economics and professional accounting. Professor Mahama gave a presentation on the stages of the program, admission criteria and graduation requirements.
The meeting included a presentation on the administration of the program, registration requirements, rules, payment system and other aspects such as electronic services. All of these meet the standards required for international accreditation.
In addition, there was a presentation on the experiences of some program graduates and the impact of the program on their professional lives. They also discussed the requirements of the international and local labor market, how to succeed through and develop professional skills.
