In light of the directives of his Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, the College of Medicine and Health Sciences at the United Arab Emirates University completed on Wednesday 22^nd of June 2016, the registration procedures of Hajar Al Qetaifan, the first female student to get accepted into the (30^th) batch.

The student was welcomed by the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, wishing her a life full of achievement and excellence. UAEU is keen to support outstanding students and to provide them with the required services to hone their skills, develop their abilities and prepare them to be able to create and innovate in future areas of interest at the national and regional levels.

Hajar Al Qetaifan, the first in the scientific stream, thanked His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his generous support to make her dreams of attending the College of Medicine come through so that she can pursue her academic excellence and contribute to the community.

It should be noted that the first batch will be assessed on Sunday 3^rd of July 2016, with acceptance tests and interviews for an extra batch of students to be held on Monday 11^th of July 2016 due to the overwhelming response to the College.
