The United Arab Emirates University organizes an ‘Industry Walkway’ with 17 participating 17 companies

The College of Engineering at the United Arab Emirates University organized an Industry Walkway on Monday 7th of March 2016. It was held on campus in the presence of Professor Mohamed Al Baili, Deputy Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, engineering faculty, students, alumni and representatives of the participating companies.
Professor Al Baili opened the accompanying exhibition, toured the exhibits and thanked all the participating companies for contributing to the success of the event. The event introduces students and graduates to employment and training opportunities. It helps them to find opportunities consistent with their qualifications and interests, as well as introducing them to scholarship programs. Additionally, attendees learn about how these companies work and their products.
This is the second such exhibition organized by the college and it will run for two days. The 17 companies includes the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre; the Masdar Institute; Dubai Electricity and Water Authority; Abu Dhabi Investment Council; Emirates Global Aluminium; DP World; Abu Dhabi Oil Co. Ltd. (Japan); Etisalat; Turbine Services and Solutions; Abu Dhabi Sewerage Services Company; Senaat General Holding Corporation; the National Petroleum Construction Company; Arkan; the Al Foah Company; Atkins and Empower. Each participant will be recognized for their contribution at the close of the event.
