In line with the national strategy for innovation,

Recently, the Innovation Support Team in UAEU, held a workshop on "Innovative presentation and innovation skills". This was in line with the National Innovation Strategy, launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, which aims to make the UAE one of the most innovative countries in the world.

The importance of these workshops is that they encourage students to be innovative and leaders in their respective areas of study. This will lead to students participating actively in achieving the State’s National Agenda and it will contribute to making the UAE the first State, internationally, to provide a full range of smart governmental services.

Adel Al Zaabi, lecturer, trainer and human development consultant, gave a detailed presentation on a range of innovative communication skills, differing types of listener, and different videos about the art of creativity. This provided students with a diverse information base, to help them engage the creative thinking process.

The Innovation Support Team at UAEU, which includes a number of members from the various Colleges and Departments of the University, aims to help students become creative and innovative in their learning. This is achieved through the organization of workshops and events aimed at creating a sustainable environment for creativity and innovation, leading to eventual wider prosperity and further development in society.
