The #1 ranked university

Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), who publish the QS World University Rankings, recently announced their rankings for the Arab Region, 2016. The United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) was first in the UAE and sixth in the Arab world.

This ranking is a testament to the quality of education at UAEU. The QS rankings aim to highlight excellence in educational institutions and are recognized as one of the most important educational ranking systems. Their criteria includes: academic reputation, reputation as an employer, research and productivity indicators, the percentage of faculty members with higher qualifications, the ratio of teachers to students and the percentage of international faculty and students attracted to the university.
