UAEU organizes CHEM LEAP Innovation Forum

H.E. Professor Mohammed Albaili, Vice Chancellor of United Arab Emirates University (UAEU), opened the CHEM LEAP Innovation forum at the College of Science to mark the UAE Innovation Month, aiming to teach chemistry in a fun and stimulating way.

Professor Ahmed Murad, Dean of the College of Science, stated that this forum is the second stage of the Chemistry Innovation Lab. The forum includes: chemistry challenge, fun knowledge, virtual reality tools (3D of scientific facts), reading corner titles ‘Ghars Zayed’ to show the UAE cultural values and instill them in students, and the Chemistry Café, a well-designed corner to encourage students to visit the forum and learn more about chemistry.

Students from UAEU and secondary schools participated in the opening of the forum and expressed their appreciation for the forum and how chemistry is presented using innovative educational methods and interactive technologies that help in teaching chemistry in a fun and thrilling way.
