The United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) observed the anniversary of Commemoration Day in the presence of H.E. Saeed Ahmed Ghobash, the UAEU Chancellor, HE Prof. Mohammed Albaili, UAEU Vice Chancellor, faculty member, staff and university students.

The university lowered the UAE flag at 8 am, and then stood for a moment of silence and prayer in honor of the sacrifices of the nation's martyrs, before re-raising the flag again at 11:30 am accompanied by the national anthem.

At the end, the participants expressed their pride to remember and honor those who have given their lives for the UAE. They stressed that Commemoration Day is a day of pride and glory.
