UAEU prepares to welcome new students

The United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) has increased its preparations to welcome new students who will commence their studies in the first semester of the academic year 2019/2020, where new students and parents will be welcomed next Sunday. It was decided that the accepted students will be transferred to the university campus in Al Ain using the university buses and will be picked up from the bus assembly stations in the various emirates, where they then will be taken to their assigned university hostels starting from next Sunday to prepare them for their start of the semester.

The Deanship of Admission and Registration has confirmed that the UAEU has completed all their preparations so that they may welcome the new students through an integrated program prepared by the university departments and colleges. Students and their parents will be welcomed in the residential units at 10 am on Sunday. On Monday, there will be workshops on academic life and course registration, how to select your major, the job market, and the services of the Student Happiness Center. Orientation about UAE Culture will be given to the international students as in addition to a college fair where the students and their parents will get to know more about the various specializations offered by the colleges as well as respond to their queries with regards to the university academic life. Also, next Monday, there will be exams for the students who didn’t sit for their “EMSAT”, to determine the level of students in both Math and Arabic language and guide them how to register for courses through the university website.
