Emirati literary works for presentation and discussion

On November 18, 2024, an event titled Emirati Publications for Presentation and Discussion was held at the Sheikh Zayed Platform in the University Library. The event featured the presentation and discussion of several works authored by university faculty members. The session, moderated by Professor Dr. Yahya and attended by Dr. Fatima Al-Buraiki, Acting Director of Libraries, included a presentation by Professor Dr. Abu Al-Wafa from the College of Law, who showcased his book titled Explanation of the UAE Criminal Procedure Law. He discussed the importance of this law in regulating criminal procedures and the judicial rulings issued under its application.

Additionally, Professor Dr. Magdy Shoaib, also from the College of Law, presented his book titled UAE Administrative Law, highlighting its role in protecting public facilities and ensuring administrative regulation necessary for maintaining public order. Meanwhile, Dr. Youssef from the College of Humanities and Social Sciences discussed some of his literary works on Emirati novels, where he explored the unique features of Emirati fiction. The event concluded with the authors answering questions from faculty members and students about their works and the topics they addressed.
