The United Arab Emirates University Discusses Artificial Intelligence Role in Promoting Organizational Efficiency and Reducing Bureaucracy

As part of the Zero Bureaucracy Community Program

The United Arab Emirates University organized the first session of the Zero Bureaucracy Community Program, titled “A conceptual Framework for AI-Enabled Organizational Agility.” With the participation of representatives from government entities and institutions across the country. The session aimed to explore the importance of integrating artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance government performance.

In his opening remark, H.E.Prof. Ahmed Ali Al Raeesi, Acting Vice Chancellor of the United Arab Emirates University stated “Today, we meet as leading national institutions, within an important framework that aligns with government directions, where we work together to activate and accelerate the implementation of the "Zero Government Bureaucracy Program" launched by the UAE Government, in order to enhance the levels of government efficiency, quality, and flexibility in the country."

He added, "Driven by this ambitious vision, we begin today the first session of the Zero Bureaucracy Community Program, to exchange views and ideas on building the conceptual framework of AI in enhancing organizational competencies. Through this meeting, we will collaborate to develop innovative solutions for AI applications, directly contributing to reducing government bureaucracy. This initiative will give us the opportunity to move toward a sustainable future, enhancing our outputs and work programs, and opening new horizons."

He further stated, "At the United Arab Emirates University, we believe in the importance of AI in reducing bureaucracy and enhancing effective communication between various government entities. Through these efforts, we contribute to supporting the UAE's strategy for building a more advanced technological future, becoming part of its journey toward excellence and innovation in artificial applications."

During the session, Prof. Nazar Zaki, an AI expert at the United Arab Emirates University, presented key AI-driven solutions and their significance in reducing government bureaucracy, along with methods for building the conceptual framework for zero bureaucracy. Opinions were exchanged on how to utilize AI to achieve the goals of the Zero Government Bureaucracy Program.
