Statement of H.E. Prof. Ahmed Al Raeesi Vice Chancellor United Arab Emirates University Commemoration Day

Martyrs’ Day is a national occasion on which we express our pride and gratitude for the sons of the UAE who sacrificed their lives in defense of the nation, its values, and its principles.

We honor their sacrifices with the deepest respect and renew our commitment to continue serving our beloved country with the same noble spirit they embodied. On behalf of the United Arab Emirates University, we extend our appreciation to the families of the martyrs and to our wise leadership, which has instilled the highest meanings of loyalty and remembrance for its people.

The UAE’s martyrs will remain role models for future generations and enduring symbols of sacrifice, loyalty, and duty. Today, we reaffirm that their message will continue to live in the heart of the University, inspiring its members to uphold dedication and service to the nation across all fields and responsibilities.
