Achievement of CIT Students at AI Connect 2025 – First Place (Best AI Project)

Students from the College of Information Technology (CIT) — Meera Saeed Obaid Aldhaheri, Saleha Abdulla Binlajhar Albreiki, and Mariam Salem Saeed Almeqbaali from the Computer and Network Engineering Department, and Reem Salem Thaaloub Alderei from the Computer Science Department, under the supervision of Dr. Farman Ullah, achieved First Place (Champion – Best AI Project) at AI Connect 2025, held on 17 November 2025.
Organized by ADNOC Onshore, AI Connect 2025 is an international AI talent and innovation competition that recognizes exceptional creativity, research excellence, and technological achievement in the field of artificial intelligence.
Their graduation project, titled “NeuroSense: Development of a Framework for EEG-Based Early Detection of Autism,” was presented at the AI Connect 2025 event, showcasing their innovative use of AI to support early diagnosis and intervention for autism spectrum disorders in early childhood.
