NYU Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) welcomes 2025–26 class of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Scholars

Abdulla Mohammed Masoud Alshamsi, a Computer and Network Engineering student, has been selected as a scholar in the 2025–26 Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Scholars Program (SMSP)—one of the UAE’s most selective academic leadership initiatives run by NYU Abu Dhabi (NYUAD). The SMSP equips outstanding undergraduates with advanced coursework, leadership training, graduate-school counseling, and access to a global network of faculty and peers. Its curriculum aligns with the UAE’s strategic priorities—addressing climate change, the energy transition, and sustainable development—while grounding future leaders in ethics, culture, and values to ensure principled, innovative leadership.
