Statement of H.E. Zaki Anwar Nusseibeh, Chancellor of United Arab Emirates University – 54th Eid Al Etihad

Today, we celebrate the 54^th Eid Al Etihad while the UAE continues to grow in prosperity and development under the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates. This national journey has been marked by tireless and sincere efforts dedicated to elevating our nation and keeping its flag proudly raised among the nations of the world.

At the United Arab Emirates University, we believe that our educational and cultural mission is an extension of the message of the Union. The university strives to strengthen the values of loyalty and belonging to the nation, and to prepare an exceptional generation equipped with high levels of knowledge and education capable of safeguarding the achievements of the UAE and contributing to its progress, development, and sustainable growth.

On this glorious day, we remember the legacy of our late founding father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who made education the cornerstone of building human capability and intellect, and the foundation for the nation’s advancement. May Allah continue to bless the UAE and its wise leadership, and may the nation be granted continued creativity, unity, and strength so that the UAE remains a model of prosperity, shaping the future through the minds, will, and ambition of its youth.
