Accounting Club Activities May, 2015

The Accounting Club organized “Your Steps To A Successful Business “ workshop on Wednesday 6^th   of May 2015 in the IT Building (E1-1060) at 10:00 – 12:00. The main objective of the workshop is to introduce CBE students to the personality characteristics that lead to success and the steps to create a successful business. The workshop is presented by two external speakers: Mr. Ali AbdulKarim Al Saloom (Owner of Maestro Enterprises Company & Founder of Ask Ali TV Show) and Ms. Moza Ali Alshamsi (Financial System & Procedures Analyst in Al Ain Distribution Company).The speakers shared their own personal experience of how they reached their objectives in life.

The Accounting Club organized “After Graduating” workshop on Tuesday 26^th of May 2015 in the IT Building (E1-1028) at 12:00-14:00. The workshop is presented by Professor Esam Moustafa, Accounting Department, CBE, UAEU. The main objective of the workshop is to offer the students an introduction about the work place after graduating, share experiences, and respond to their questions regarding this topic. Prof. Esam explained to the students the difference between the theoretical study of Accounting and its practice in the work environment; and how to develop Accounting knowledge through professional certificates (CPA, ACCA, CMA, CIA and MBA). He also shared with the students his personal experience about the work environment.
