Recognizing CBE Student

It takes me great pleasure in sharing the news that our Finance Major, Mr.Mohammad Musin Ali got selected for The Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Scholars Program in August 2014. The Scholars Program has been developed in close consultation with the Abu Dhabi Education Council, national extant universities and colleges in the UAE, and New York University Abu Dhabi. It accepts Scholars from among the most outstanding students from the National Universities in UAE. The main goals of the program are as follows:

• To offer an unparalleled and rigorous educational, cross-cultural, and leadership-development experience to outstanding and gifted university students in their third and fourth years of study in the UAE who will benefit from the program.
• To provide these students access to NYU's global research, educational, and leadership network to foster greater awareness of international issues and challenges, and to develop in these Scholars the capacity to shape the future.
• To prepare exceptional candidates demonstrating the highest merit and motivation for graduate and professional study at institutions of their choice and provide scholarships to those admitted into NYU graduate and professional schools.

Musin has already been a promising student with a CGPA of 3.88 and we wish him all the best for this program and his travel plans to United States in January,2015!
