UAEU CBE Recognized in "Growth and Progress" in BizEd Magazine

The UAEU College of Business and Economics (CBE) was one of several business schools profiled in the "Growth and Progress" article in BizEd Magazine, March/April 2016. AACSB International – The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, the oldest global association dedicated to advancing management education worldwide, celebrates its 100th Anniversary in the BizEd edition.
Founded in 1916, with the first accreditation standards adopted in 1919, AACSB now accredits 755 business schools in 51 countries. Distinct accounting accreditation has been achieved by 182 accounting programs.
In 2000, the CBE became the first business school in the Middle East to be accredited by AACSB. Distinct accounting accreditation was achieved in 2012. Today, the CBE is the only business school in the Middle East accredited in both business and accounting.
Accreditation by AACSB represents the highest standard of achievement for business schools. Less than five percent of the more than 16,000 schools around the globe have achieved AACSB accreditation. AACSB-accredited business schools are considered to be the best business schools in the world.
