CBE and Borouge Sign MoU to Strengthen UAE

The College of Business and Economics (CBE) and Borouge Private Limited Abu Dhabi recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to support the goals of the UAE.  The partners have agreed to utilize their capabilities to achieve the vision of the Government of the UAE to make it one of the leading countries of the world, strengthen partnership relations, develop a mechanism to promote supply chain practices in the UAE, and allow CBE students to take advantage of the training programs and consulting provided by Borouge.  Prof. Geralyn Franklin, Dean of the CBE, stated, “This is a significant opportunity for the CBE to work with Borouge to promote supply chain management as a major and career for our students and for students to participate in Borouge’s highly-acclaimed training programs.”  Dr. Younes Hamdouch, Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Business Administration, will direct the CBE’s efforts under the agreement.
