CBE Honors DBA Leaders

The College of Business and Economics (CBE) launched its Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) Program in Fall 2011, the first AACSB accredited DBA in the UAE. The DBA Program is designed for senior-level executives and research-oriented working professionals. Today, approximately 80 students are working on a DBA. Three students graduated in Fall 2015, and several more graduates are expected in 2016.

The success of the DBA is due to the tireless efforts of many individuals.  Recently, the CBE recognized certain faculty members who have been instrumental in ensuring the achievement of the program  These include:

• • Prof. Mohamed Madi, Founding Director of the DBA who served through December 2015 and DBA Steering Committee Member
  • Dr. Rihab Khalifa, Coordinator of the DBA and DBA Steering Committee Chair
  • Prof. Thomas Ahrens, DBA Steering Committee Member
  • Prof. Abdulnasser Hatemi, DBA Steering Committee Member Prof. Hassan Selim, DBA Steering Committee Member
  • Prof. Taoufik Zoubeidi, DBA Steering Committee Member

Additional recognition was given to the many faculty members who teach and advise the DBA students and the staff members who provide administrative support.  Without the support of the entire CBE team, the DBA Program would not be a success.
