CBE Recognizes Internship Partners for the AY 2015/2016

The College of Business and Economics (CBE) held an Honoring Ceremony for Internship Strategic Partners for Fall 2015 and Spring 2016 in recognition of their contributions and support for the College’s students and the professional development program.  The event was held on Thursday, 28 April, in the Great Hall in the Crescent Building in the presence of Prof. Geralyn McClure Franklin, Dean of the CBE, Dr. Mohammed Al Suwaidi, Assistant Dean for Professional Development, and the representatives of public and private sector organizations from different Emirates.  

The event began with a video highlighting the many achievements of the College in recent years.  Prof. Geralyn then welcomed the audience and thanked all those involved in the activities of the college and in preparing students to contribute positively to the national labor market by producing graduates with distinct professional abilities.  She also acknowledged the many contributions of the Professional Development Unit staff.  Two recent CBE graduates presented their thoughts on their positive work experiences as part of the internship program.  Prof. Geralyn and Dr. Mohammed then presented awards and certificates of appreciation to the representatives of the strategic partner organizations.
