The Special Education Department in the College of Education at United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) in  collaboration   with the Abu Dhabi  Education Council conducted  a workshop  entitled “Gifted and Talented Children  and Meeting the Needs of Students with Learning Difficulties”, in  Umm AL Emirate High  School on Wednesday 19/12/2014.

The workshop was conducted by Dr, Hala Elhoweris who also conducted  another workshop titled “Discovering and Caring  for Children with  Gifts and Talents “ in  the Areefa High School  on Wednesday 26/11/2014.

The Special Education Department at United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) in collaboration with the Development Authority in Dubai, which aims to improve the community and enhance  the general  level of awareness of  governmental organizations to employees in dealing with special need individuals organized  a training program titled “How to Deal with Handicapped Children” , which took place  in Dubai.  Dr. Abdalaziz Alsaratawi and Dr. Mohammed  Alzouydi, delivered the training  program  as part of  department’s  strategic plan for the  academic year  2014/2015.
