Welcome back to the University after the summer and Eid breaks!

Over the summer we have cleared and moved off-site more than 80,000 out-of-date volumes to make more spaces available for you to meet, study and relax.

With cleared spaces, we have more than 150 additional seats at study tables in the Main Hall

Books relocated from the Main Library are being stored off-site at Al Muwaji and requests can be retrieved within a day.  Any items which are regularly requested will be brought back and retained on site at the Main Library.

Extended opening hours coming soon:

• Sunday to Wednesday 7.30 am to 12 midnight
  The Main Hall will be available to female students only after 9 pm
  Male students can access the Male reading room and PCs only during these extended hours.
• Thursday opening hours will remain the same 7.30 am to 3 pm.

The Libraries will be providing Information literacy sessions for faculty and students on the following dates:

• September 18, Tuesday at 11.15 am
• October 9, Tuesday at 11.15 am

Student Library Instruction Research Process, Resources, Access, Retrieval

• September 19, Wednesday at 12PM
• November 14, Wednesday at 12PM
• November 21, Wednesday at 12PM

Additional workshops and information sessions can be arranged.
