Energy-Aware Resource Allocation Model for Efficient Energy, High Performance Computing, Quality of Services, and Data Availability in Smart Cities Big Data Systems
Mon, 6 June 2022
The overall goal of this project is to find solutions to the problems of energy consumption in Hadoop big data distributed computing system. Hadoop big data computing is seen as a backbone Smart Cities information and communication technologies for developing smart cities applications involving big data analytics. It provides a software framework for distributed storage and processing of big data. This is without compromising the running applications’ performance, quality of services and data availability, which are of crucial importance to real-time and highly available applications required in smart cities. For more information about a PhD position on this project, please contact the Principle Investigator Dr. Leila Ismail (leila@uaeu.ac.ae)
