Dr. Paul Savage
Department of Marketing and Entrepreneurship, Assistant Professor and Researcher at the Emirates Center for Entrepreneurship Research
Dr. Savage has a Doctor of Science (DSc) degree in Economics, with a focus on Management & Organization Studies, from Aalto University in Helsinki, Finland. He joined UAEU in August 2023.
Originally from Vancouver, Canada, he has worked in a broad range of professions – in theatre and short films, as a radio host, logistics for nearly 20 years, and as a public speaking coach and trainer. Before moving to the UAE in 2023, he was the Managing Director of Frank & Savage Communications, and was a University Teacher at Aalto University’s Venture Program, focusing on entrepreneurship and startups.
It’s a diverse background.
Dr. Savage’s research is focused on entrepreneurial and organizational ontologies and how we interpret experiences. This applies broadly to business ethics, management and leadership.
