Project Description

The project main objective was the Capabilities Building in the Area of Groundwater Hydrogeology and Digital Modelling for UAE Staff in Environment Agency Abu Dhabi by on Job training during the development of a numerical groundwater flow models to support the conjunctive management of both ground- and other water resources in the Eastern Region area. The results of this study provided tools for the evaluation of alternative water resources management scenarios and enhanced the capacity and knowledge of the national engineers from EAD regarding water resources management aspects.
