Dhabia Nasser Alhazmi
recently graduated from UAEU with a master's degree from the Department of Architecture
Engineering, College of Engineering, and a bachelor's degree in Urban Planning. My
research project was titled The Impact of Light Rail Transit on Urban Development in Dubai, UAE using GIS analysis. Urban transformation patterns around the Metro Stations were analyzed
in the study. In addition, population densities, connectivity, and land use patterns
were examined. As a result, three metro stations have been selected to study the surrounding
urban pattern and population density. Added my participation in the Dubai-hosted International
Conference ZEMCH 2021.
I am employed by NAEL & BIN HARMAL HYDROEXPORT Company as a health, safety, and environment engineer, and I intend to pursue my career in this field. Thanks to my country and our leaders, who encourage us to pursue our passions in all professions. Especially their continued support for women and their appreciation for their participation in education and the work field.
