Dr. Ghadah Al MurshidiDr. Ghadah Al Murshidi is an Associate Professor in the curriculum and instruction department at the College of Education, and previously she was in Humanities and Social sciences college, at the UAE University. She received the Young Emirati Researcher Prize and the best Young researcher award. For her community service, she received the Emirati women’s award. She was recently awarded as the best academic woman achiever. She was the first doctoral holder to join voluntarily the National service. She participated in the first patch of the 50th leaders' program, and the Fatima Bint Mubarak Program for Political Empowerment program. She has published extensively on language and literacy. 

 Her strong advocacy for social issues in the UAE leads her to publish Emiratization issues and service learning, and tolerance. Her interest in educational technology led her to conduct research and publish papers about mobile learning, blended learning, online learning, and virtual learning in different contexts such as early childhood education and higher education. She implemented a new strategy for teaching English which is called the videotaped story workshop method.

Dr. Al Murshidi received an award for her book "The Guide of Creativity and Innovation in the UAE", by His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, the Ruler of the emirate Fujairah and a member of the Supreme Council in the UAE. She led a national, multidisciplinary research project “A Comparative Study of Emirati students’ Academic Experiences at UAE University, Zayed University and Higher College of Technology” which was funded by the United Arab Emirates University - National Research Foundation. She was the Emirati expert in the international research project “A Comparative Study of global citizenship in Arabic Countries Education” which was funded by the Regional Centre of Quality and Excellence in Education, KSA. She is one of the Emirati thinkers that published a book chapter titled Global citizenship education strategies for the next fifty years in the United Arab Emirates, In Education in the United Arab Emirates: its philosophy, roles, and future development visions book, with collaboration with Emirates Centre for Strategic Studies and Research. Recently, she received a grant from other colleagues from Abu Dhabi Early childhood authority, as her interest in early childhood education is growing. She presented her research papers at different conferences nationally and internationally.

She is a member of the different editorial boards, associate editor, and reviewer of Scopus journals such as frontiers in education, frontiers in psychology, World Journal of English Language, International Journal of Instruction Technology & Social Sciences, Journal of English Linguistics Research, Global Research in Higher Education, International Journal of Education, Culture and Society, etc. She has many meetings in different TV shows such as the Abu Dhabi channel, Sharjah channel, and Fujairah channel. She discussed various educational and social topics such as global citizenship, bullying, innovation, social solidarity, etc.
