Justine Sarrau

Justine Sarrau holds a Bachelor's degree in Geography, Urban Planning, and Environment from Université Toulouse Jean Jaurès, Toulouse, France, followed by a Master's degree in Earth Observation and Geomatics from UNISTRA, Strasbourg, France.

Currently pursuing a PhD in GIS (Geographic Information Systems) at UAEU. Their notable achievement includes securing 1^st place in the ESGRS Challenge - Earth Observation edition, organized by the ESGRS (Emirati Society of GIS and Remote Sensing) in collaboration with the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Center.

The winning project, "Impact of sea level rise scenarios on the city of Abu Dhabi: mobility, infrastructures, and environment using Unity game engine," earned them the opportunity to present at the Dubai Air Show on the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Center's booth.

The ongoing research aligns with their PhD project. Justine had the privilege of participating in the EGU23 conference in Vienna this summer, presenting an abstract on the "Temporal variations of the United Arab Emirates coastline from 1991 to 2021." This research was conducted in collaboration with College of Humanities and Social Sciences.
