Prof. Mohsen Sherif

Professor Mohsen Sherif is a distinguished professor of Water Resources at UAE University, holding numerous prestigious positions within the institution since 2001, currently appointed as the Director of Research and Sponsored Projects, at the Office of the Associate Provost for Research.

With a background in Civil Engineering and Water Resources from Cairo University and Louisiana State University, Dr. Sherif has over 35 years of experience in teaching and research. He has authored over 160 papers and book chapters, and holds two US Patents on water desalination. His expertise spans hydrology, hydraulics, climate change, and GIS in water resources. Notable accolades include two Fulbright Scholarships and the Sheikh Khalifa Award for Education.

Dr. Sherif is actively engaged in professional affiliations and editorial roles for leading journals in his field. His contributions extend globally, shaping the landscape of water resources management and sustainability.
