Queentali Thokchom
Ms. Queentali Thokchom is born in Manipur India. She completed her master's in international
Broadcast Journalism at Birmingham City University in 2013. She directed the documentary
film called Manipuri Pony, available on YouTube. She is currently a lecturer at the
United Arab Emirates University since 2016. The courses she is teaching are Intro
to Mass Media, Writing for Broadcast, World and Arab Media, Writing for media, and
Broadcast Management. She oversees the Media club UAEU and organized many workshops
and talks for the students inviting prominent figures from the media industry. Her
hobbies are sports and traveling.
She has hosted women empowerment talk show on All India Radio. She has directed and produced a documentary film called Manipuri Pony. She is also an experienced presenter. She has anchored shows on All India Radio, and Manipuri Polo Association. She has given several workshops on Social Media positivity.
Ms. Queentali’s research interests are Social Media and Internet addiction as well as Media literacy.
