Sheikha Salim Al Na'imi

Sheikha Salim Al Na'imi is the Founder and Director of the Training Institute at the University of Buraimi, Sultanate of Oman with more than thirteen years of experience contributing to establishing a Higher Educational Institution. Specializing in education and educational leadership, Sheikha uses that background to found and lead various entities at the Institution.

By focusing on building human capital, supporting educational affairs, and continuing learning practices, Sheikha has been able to put the Bachelor of Education with Teaching License she earned at the College of Education at UAEU to good use, she also worked to invest the knowledge gained from her study for a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from the University of Leicester, UK.

Over the years, Ms. Al Na'imi strengths at the University have garnered some recognition by founding and leading several entities and committees such as Human Resources Affairs Department, the Students Affairs Department, and Training Institutes. Furthermore, she is one of the young leaders who graduated from the national leadership program to upskill and empower potential Omanis for middle and senior management positions in the private sector (ETIMAD). Last year, she was honored by the Minister of Higher Education, Research & Innovation as an outstanding Omani woman who provided invaluable contributions during her long tenure at the Educational Institution.

Sheikha may spend her days at Al Buraimi, Sultanate of Oman, but her contribution to higher education institutions and to supporting long-life learning gets her up in the morning. When she is not at the university, Sheikha is avid about traveling, exploring new experiences, and loves spending time learning new languages.
