Overview
The Student Learning Support Unit (SLSU) offers FREE academic support to UAEU students from the time they join the university through to the postgraduate level. The unit works closely with students, with the aim of helping them fulfil their academic potential and build the skills necessary to be successful in their future lives and careers.
SLSU contributes to improving retention rates and minimizing time to graduation, it also helps students develop as creative, successful independent learners. SLSU’s FREE programs, competitions, activities and events also provide students with opportunities to engage in campus life and make meaningful connections with groups and individuals outside their disciplinary areas, thus fostering a sense of belonging and community within the student body.
The unit works towards promoting student success university-wide through the Learning Centers.
