Clinical & Community Services
At both Tawam and Al Ain Hospitals (teaching hospitals), the Department is involved in the provision of general Obstetric and Gynecological Services which includes regular on-call duties. Faculty contributes specialized services in Maternal Fetal Medicine, Minimal Access Surgery, Gyn-Oncology and Women Health.
The Department had a major input in introducing and developing new services to the affiliated hospitals. This includes fetal medicine, urogynecology, and coploscpy services.
The Department led the first intrauterine fetal transfusion in the UAE.
