Research Interests: Theoretical Particle Physics
Biography: Prof. Nasri earned his MSc in Physics from Syracuse University in 2000 and his PhD in 2003. He has held postdoctoral positions at the University of Maryland and the University of Florida before joining UAEU in 2007. He leads the UAEU-ATLAS collaboration, contributing to the LHC’s groundbreaking experiments at CERN.
Dr. Mohamed Belfkir

Research Interests: Experimental Particle Physics, Higgs and Double Higgs Physics, Dark Matter, Machine Learning Applications in HEP
Biography: Dr. Belfkir’s earned his PhD degree from Savoie Mont Blanc University in 2021 before joining UAEU. His work focuses on Higgs boson research and the application of artificial intelligence to enhance particle physics analyses. He is actively involved in dark matter studies at the LHC.
Dr. Ammara Ahmad

Biography: Dr. Ammara earned her PhD degree in Physics from Universitát Autonoma de Barcelona, Spain. During her PhD she earned doctoral studentship and stayed at CERN from 2019 till 2023 to carry out her PhD research work. Her work focuses on Calibration of the ATLAS TileCalorimeter as well as Higgs boson research and the application of artificial intelligence to enhance particle physics analyses
Issac Bamwidhi, PhD Fello

Biography: Isaac Bamwidhi earned his MSc from UAE University in 2022 and is currently working at the same university as a PhD fellow and his work focuses on Higgs boson research and the application of artificial intelligence to enhance particle physics analyses. He is actively involved in dark matter studies at the LHC.
