The United Arab Emirates University has established the National Faculty Recruitment and Development Office to support and develop exceptional UAE national talents who aspire to pursue higher education and distinguished careers in academia.
This program is specifically designed for distinguished Emirati graduates who demonstrate outstanding academic performance, leadership potential, and a strong aspiration to pursue a career in academia.
Through the Teaching Assistants Program, UAEU offers a competitive and fully funded academic pathway designed to prepare a promising generation of Emirati faculty members. The program sponsors outstanding graduates to pursue Master’s and PhD degrees (or Medical Fellowships) at leading international universities, enabling them to actively contribute to the UAE’s vision and the development of a sustainable knowledge-based society.
Implemented in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, this strategic partnership strengthens national efforts to advance higher education, develop academic frameworks, streamline recruitment and scholarship procedures, and prepare future generations in alignment with the country’s strategic priorities.

Upon successful completion of the Master’s and PhD programs, candidates will be appointed as Assistant Professors at United Arab Emirates University.
