Target Audience
This workshop is primarily for students in Master or Doctorate programs who wish to consolidate their academic writing skills, in order to improve their academic writing style.

Workshop Description
The aim of this workshop is to raise awareness of features of academic style and provide you with advice and practice on how to improve the style of your own academic writing. This session will focus on formality in academic writing and improving formality through editing. It will further focus on language features that can help improve both the precision and complexity of your writing. The session will incorporate discussion-based and practical activities.
Resources
Participants may find it useful to bring examples of their own academic writing to the session.
