Target Audience

This workshop is designed primarily for students enrolled in any of the UAEU Masters or Doctorate programs - undergraduate students who are interested in research skills are also invited to attend. Anyone interested is welcome to join.

Workshop Description

The workshop has been designed in response to student feedback and will provide an opportunity to discuss issues such as how to select a good research topic, how to do effective literature searching, how to prepare a successful research proposal, and how to give a clear scientific presentation. The workshop will follow an interactive format, and students will have the opportunity to engage hands-on in the above activities if they wish.

Resources

Students are encouraged to bring their laptops. Please ensure that your laptop is fully charged as the room may not have convenient power outlet.
