United Arab Emirates University Board of Trustees Convenes its 5th Meeting for the 2024/2025 Academic Year

The Board noted the 2025 Strategic Key Performance Indicators (SKPIs), which reflect the university’s success in developing a sustainable educational and research model aligned with global best practices. These indicators emphasize student success, research and innovation, and the university’s growing societal impact.

During the meeting, the Board approved a package of new strategic policies aimed at supporting the university’s long-term financial sustainability and enhancing institutional governance. These included the Investment Policy, the Strategy and Future Policy, the Sustainability Policy, the Community Engagement Policy, and the Diversity and Equal Opportunity Policy—reaffirming the university’s leadership in shaping a sustainable academic and economic future.

In his closing remarks, His Excellency Zaki Nusseibeh expressed his appreciation for the valuable contributions of the Board members and external advisors, commending their active role in advancing UAEU’s visionary goals. He emphasized that the Board’s steadfast commitment remains the cornerstone of the university’s continued excellence and innovation.
