Participation in the Professional Conference in the Annual Canadian Diabetes

Dr. Habiba Ali, Assistant Professor in the Department of Nutrition & Health has participated in the Annual Canadian Diabetes Association/Canadian Society for Endocrinology & Metabolism Professional Conference and Annual Meetings held in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada from October 20-23, 2010. The title of her presentation was “Nutrient Intakes and Nutrition Knowledge of Multiethnic Women with and without Gestational Diabetes Mellitus in the United Arab Emirates”. Mr. Amjad Jarrar was a co-author of this paper. The focus of the conference was to share the latest research on diabetes management and patient education.
