Summary of a Meeting between College of Food and Agriculture and GRM International,

On Sunday, 17 October, 2010 Professor Ghaleb Alhadrami, Dean of College of Food and Agriculture and Dr. Ibrahim Belal, chair of Aridland Agriculture Department, Dr Mohamed Gheblawi, Head of Agribusiness Department and Dr. Ali El-Keblawy, Plant Ecologist met with two representatives from GRM International Company Mr. Lance MacManus Project Coordinator and Mr. Russell McKay Agriculture Economist. Both sides discussed the potential cooperation between College of Food and Agriculture and GRM International and discussing the items of a contract between GRM and CFA about vegetation map for the Northern Emirates. The Aridland Agriculture Dept agreed to provide  consultancy to GRM to compile a field guide that helps in identification of key vegetation species of the Northern Emirates. This consultancy work will help in developing a vegetation map to the Northern Emirates.
